Immigration Procedures - applying for an F-1 Visa

If you have met Bow High School's standard for international students then the School will issue an I-20 form with a conditional letter of acceptance. This does not mean you have permission to come to the United States - you are not allowed to become a student at the School unless you obtain approval from the United States government to enter and stay in the country.  You must now apply for an F-1 visa.  This process is shown step-by-step on the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement website which you should view now and follow. Click here.

The "Study in the States" website can show you what you need to do from considering study in the United States to what can happen when you arrive.
